But He was pierced for our transgressions!

Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed? For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.

He is 0418c671498d4a52513d26213217ca59despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

b258161e3603151786ba223637d44d21All we like sheep havey gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken. And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth. efb47406946c6b1056f122d407e43aeeYet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.

He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities. Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
Isaiah 53:1‭-‬12

I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint; my heart is like wax; it is melted within my breast; my strength is dried up like a potsherd, and my tongue sticks to my jaws; you lay me in the dust of death. For dogs encompass me; a company of evildoers encircles me; they have pierced my hands and feet— I can count all my bones— they stare and gloat over me; they divide my garments among them, and for my clothing they cast lots.
Psalms 22:14‭-‬18

And they crucified him and divided his garments among them, casting lots for them, to decide what each should take. And it was the third hour when they crucified him.
Mark 15:24‭-‬25

And when the sixth hour had come, there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour. And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, “Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachthani?” which means, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”
Mark 15:33‭-‬34

The scourging and physical pain the Lord Jesus suffered was minor in comparison to the pain caused by the real burden He was bearing—the burden of the sins of all believers. He bore our sins to the cross where He paid the penalty for them all.

The current situation in Israel and what soon will come to pass has been accurately written about by the prophets in the Bible and in the New Covenant. The outcome of these coming wars is prophesied clearly in the Scriptures and is important for you to know.

What happens when I die?

What happens when I die? The answer is found in the Scriptures! Accurate prophesy is absolutely unique to the Tenach and New Covenant Scriptures.

One definition of Bible prophecy is written history that has not yet come to pass. The prophecies of the Bible line up perfectly with the world events that are happening before us. According to the Word of God, we are about to face the worst times the world has ever known, far worse than World War II and the holocaust. The Bible teaches us that God is about to judge the whole earth.

Besides the coming physical devastation, of far more serious significance is the eternal consequence of judgement by God upon our souls, assigning us a place with Him in paradise, or separated from Him in hell. Some people have questioned, “Why would a loving God send a good person to hell forever?”… [continue reading ..What happens when I die? –]
