Jorge Bergoglio, also known as ‘Pope Francis’, led Roman Catholics on Tuesday in the observance of the feast day called “The Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God,” during which he expressed the hope that Mary would “protect” the people for the new year, and claimed that in times of trouble, men should not only “lift…
As 2018 is coming to an end, I can look back and rejoice at what the Lord has done. However, the message that He has placed on my heart for 2019 is a resounding one: Finish well!
Yes my friends, we are close to the finish line. The writing is on the wall, the signs are on the ground, all the players are in place. We are the generation that shall not pass away. We are the generation that will experience more deception than any other simply because it’s so easy to fall into deception with the digital world.
The questions I’ve been posed to ask myself, as well as all of you are: Is life here in this world all that you care about? Is this world all that you have? Is it all about “making the most” out of it? Are the things of this world the main issues on your mind and the prime goals of your life?
I heard a well-known pastor saying that his dying son, who had only three weeks to live due to severe cancer, told him, “Dad, I am so excited for what is coming next!”
Another good friend of mine, who happens to be a pastor here in Israel, told me, “Once I am dead, don’t let anyone bring me back to life or else I will kill him!”
Are you as excited about eternity that you wouldn’t want to live here in this world again? Is heaven your home or this world? You can only be homesick for where your home is!
Can you honestly live your life with the excitement for what is coming next? Is this world the end for you?
When you wake up in the morning and start your day, who are you aiming to please and impress?
“…For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world…”
1 John 2:16
In 2019 can you honestly say?
“…For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain…”
As we approach the finish line, we must all examine our hearts and ask ourselves…Do we know that when the Lord comes back He will tell us?
“…well done, good and faithful servant!”
My friends, let’s finish well. Let’s finish strong!
“… If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory. Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience, in which you yourselves once walked when you lived in them. But now you yourselves are to put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth. Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him, where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcised nor uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave nor free, but Christ is all and in all…”
Awaiting His Return,
The Chinese government has implemented a crack down on the Church not seen since Mao began his war against Christians in 1949. More Chinese Christians were arrested during the Christmas season. Chinese authorities continue to raid and close churches, arrest unregistered church members, pressure them withround-the-clock surveillance and the threat of detainment. Pastors like Wang Yi of Early Rain Covenant Church are encouraging their congregations to stand strong and to prepare for much greater hardships. See video sermons (below) given by Pastor Wang Yi to his church members before his arrest. Be encouraged in your own faith as well in your prayers for our brothers and sisters in China.
On December 9th, 2018, authorities arrested more than 100 members and leaders of Early Rain Covenant Church, including Pastor Wang Yi as we reported here. He and his wife have been charged with “inciting to subvert state power.”

A few days ago I received a message from authorities that a pack of coyotes is back. Eleven sightings were reported over the previous 3 days. The message included a warning to keep pets and children indoors.
Coyotes are related to dogs, wolves, and jackals, and known for their heightened senses of hearing, smell, and sight. They stand about 3 feet (94 cm) high and weigh up to 5o pounds (23 kilos). Coyotes live and hunt in packs, taking turns stalking, chasing, and taking down prey as large as deer. The cold of winter causes them to descend from the hills and mountains in search of easily-gained meals. It is illegal in Oregon to trap or hunt coyotes.
Let me say this bluntly: I have never been more viciously attacked than by people claiming to be Christians. Atheists can be mean-spirited, but generally exhibit a live-and-let-live attitude. It is those…

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ:
This is the day which the Lord has made, let us be glad and rejoice in it!
Where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing will be there(James 3:16).
Envy is a sneaky sin that comes from comparing one’s own position, possessions, or privileges with those of others and resentfully believing that it should have the same.
Envy confuses the difference between what a person needs and what a person wants.
Envy births the political philosophies of socialism, communism, and the religious philosophy of the social gospel. It pits the rich against the poor, the educated against the un-educated, the haves against the have-nots.
Envy suckles at the breast of selfish pride and dwells in the vile nest of confusion and every evil thing.
Envy drowns out the teaching of Scripture that The Lord kills and makes alive; He brings down to the grave and brings up. The Lord makes poor and makes rich; He brings low and lifts up (1 Samuel 2:6-7).

I am eager to share great news with all you. My oldest grandson Jorden (he just turned 15) attends a Catholic School. He just finished year 9. A few days ago the end of the year exam results were handed down. He passed all his subjects (including maths hahaha ) with high grades but FAILED religion. HALLELUJAH!
I was so excited. He had a BIG FAIL in the Catholic Religion. He shared with me that his religion teacher hates him even since he contradicted his stand on creation, According to this teacher God didn’t really create the world in seven days. Creation is the result of evolution.
I am so grateful to our God for saving Jorden and growing him up spiritually by the power of His Holy Spirit.
Thank you Jesus.
