WHY CALL ME LORD, LORD AND DO NOT THE THINGS I SAY?

Many who profess Christ will be told by our Lord on Judgement Day: “I never knew you; depart from me”.

Perhaps this is the most tragic text in all the Bible.

Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’ -Matthew 7:21-23

Why call Me Lord, Lord and do not the things I say?
You call Me the Way and walk Me not!
You call Me the Life and live Me not!
You call Me Master and obey Me not!
If I condemn you blame Me not.
You call Me Bread and eat Me not!
You call Me Truth and believe Me not!
You call Me Lord and serve Me not!
If I condemn you blame Me not.

  1. If you mix the holy with the profane you will hear this because you do not keep His command to touch not the unclean thing and to keep from any compromise with the things of darkness.. That’s the vast majority of “Christians” today who see nothing wrong with christianizing religious paganism to worship God with. Sad thing is, God will blind those who are adamant that you can do it and He won’t mind…He does but Judgement Day will be when many find out this truth.
